Viticulture
South Australia’s Barossa Region has grown Cabernet since the early days of grape growing in South Australia. Regular warm sunny days, with nights that are surprisingly cool for the uninitiated, ensure this moderate climate variety can ripen fully without losing too much natural acidity. Barossa Cabernet wines generally show less aromatic intensity than their peers from cooler regions however they compensate by their rich generous palate depth.
Vinification
26 months Barrel maturation in 63% French and 37% American oak, of which approximately 50% in one and two-year old hogsheads.
Alcohol
14.5%
Cellaring

Enjoy now or up to five years when stored under cool conditions.
