Estate Grown - Durif, also known as Petite Sirah in Southern Rhone, is a variant of Shiraz that has even deeper, brighter colour and tends to show more blueberry-like fruit characteristics. It thrives in similar climates as Shiraz and is therefore ideally suited to South Australia’s Barossa Valley with its regular warm sunny days and nights that are surprisingly cool. One of the first plantings in Barossa still producing fruit.
