Classic cassis-like Cabernet fruit is seamlessly married to rich vanilla oak. A dense mid-palate with cleansing acidity and tannins make for a complete wine to be enjoyed now, but ideally stored for five to 10 years to develop additional complexity.

South Australian’s Barossa Region has grown Cabernet since the early days of grape-growing in South Australia. Regular warm sunny days, with nights that are surprisingly cool for the uninitiated, ensure this moderate climate variety can ripen fully without losing too much natural acidity. Barossa Cabernet wines generally show less aromatic intensity than their peers from cooler regions, however, they compensate by their rich and generous palate depth.
